AK MERDC CAMOUFLAGE COLOURS 3G A 3rd Generation acrylic paint set featuring the eight colors that are essential for reproducing MERDC (Mobility Equipment Research and Development Center) camouflage patterns applied to US Army vehicles from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. Eight different patterns for use in various terrain and weather conditions were developed and all but one (Arctic White which was simply white overall) consisted of four colors: in theory, color no.1 and no.2 each covered 45% of vehicle’s surface, and color no.3 and no.4 each covered 5%.
