CORGI MERCEDEZ MP4 CURTAIN MC GAWN Founded in 1964 by brothers David and James, McGawn Bros began making wrought iron gates in a garden shed in Ayr. In 1968, in need of a larger premises, it moved to a yard in Maybole and bought its first unit and trailer – McGawn Bros was branching out into the world of haulage! Its unit was used to haul timber from Argyll to Workington for a saw mill and by 1975 their fleet had grown to six vehicles. McGawn Bros continues to operate from its two locations in Maybole. |
